Cato Utrecht creates refined leather bags and accessories from its own atelier in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Each piece is designed and made with close attention to material, proportion, colour and finishing. The collection is small and carefully developed, with an emphasis on high-quality leather, suede, subtle details and a soft yet distinctive sense of elegance.
Bespoke bags
Cato also creates bespoke bags for private clients. A custom bag usually starts with a personal wish: a specific size, a preferred shape, a colour combination or a practical detail that is difficult to find elsewhere.
During the design process, we discuss the intended use, materials, proportions, interior layout and finishing. This results in a bag that feels personal, refined and natural to use.
Atelier and personal contact
The atelier is based in Vleuten, Utrecht, and visits are possible by appointment.
International clients are welcome to get in touch. Design choices and materials can be discussed online, supported by colour samples and small material test pieces when appropriate. Refined materials and thoughtful details remain central throughout the process.
